'America's Got Talent' Recap: San Francisco Auditions
by Pat Driscoll 4 minutes ago
NBC
.
Now that we’ve (I’ve) decided that having Howard Stern on the judges panel is not all that alien a concept and since he’s doing a serviceable if not mind blowing job, we can move on and talk a bit more about the acts he, Sharon and Howie are judging. Sound like a plan? Good. Let’s first agree that four hours of ‘America’s Got Talent’ is about three hours too much, but this is the way the world of television works and we’ll just have to deal with it, I guess. Further, these are audition rounds and audition rounds drag regardless, so that’s just another hurdle to climb over. Having said that, of all the reality competition shows, ‘AGT’’s audition rounds, though still tedious, at least have some variety which keeps them modestly entertaining and that’s just what the San Francisco auditions were…modestly entertaining. -

One of the biggest questions I have heading into Rupert Sanders’ upcoming Snow White & The Huntsman is how the filmmakers are going to balance the character of Snow White. We know her mostly as a Disney princess, but in this version she’s more of a warrior, and these brand new TV spots finally show us enough footage to prove that K-Stew can actually lead an army. There’s a few new snippets of footage here mixed in with some stuff we’ve seen before, so take a look and let us know what you think in the comments. -
Marc Webb Talks About Making 'The Amazing-Spider Man'

Even though (500) Days of Summer was a big hit when it was released, I bet director Marc Webb had no idea that he would so quickly be taking on the huge task of bringing Spider-Man back to the big screen. In this new behind-the-scenes featurette for The Amazing Spider-Man, he encourages all of you up-and-coming filmmakers out there to go out and follow your dreams. There’s also a scene between Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy that’s different from what we saw in the 4 minute super preview, and though there’s not much of The Lizard on display, Webb’s enthusiasm for the Spidey universe definitely makes up for it. Check it out below. -

Just when you thought it was safe to attend the San Diego Comic-Con in July, word spreads that San Diego is the first city to succumb to the zombie epidemic. At least that’s the idea behind a new obstacle course planned by Robert Kirkman, creator of “The Walking Dead.” -
